Standing Together: Our Sponsors, Partners & Kit Supplier
"Without the support of businesses, individuals and partners, we simply wouldn't exist"
We’re proud to be backed by a brilliant community of businesses and supporters. Their contribution helps us grow the game, support our players, and keep the club thriving.
We continue to develop and build relationships with local businesses, welcome them to our club and encourage them to utilise our facilities and feel part of the team. Sponsorship is an integral part of any grass roots sports club and we couldn’t do without them.
Please take a look at our amazing partners and sponsors below, and visit their website for more information - and please support the businesses that support us so brilliantly!
Quality kit, proudly worn
Canvey Island RUFC are very pleased to announce our new partnership with VX-3. The new club shop, set up as part of our partnership, stocks a wide range of @cirufc apparel, including the famous hooped team rugby shirt and classic teamwear.
We’re proud to wear kit supplied by VX-3, whose quality and service help us look sharp on and off the pitch.
Club Treasurer Rob Huntley said “We are really excited about having a full online store available to our members. We have been impressed with the quality and the fit of the garments we have received and look forward to building a strong relationship with VX-3".
Support the club, grow your brand - consider sponsorship at Canvey Island RUFC
Want to support grassroots rugby and connect with a passionate local community? We’d love to hear from you.
Canvey Island Rugby Union Football Club has a long history of over 50 years. It has always been at the very heart of the community throughout its time. The club not only provides Rugby to the area, but it is a social outlet for a large number of people and families.
Our vision is to be the club that every member and the local community can be proud of. We want our teams and players to be respected and admired for the manner in which they play on the pitch and conduct themselves off the pitch. To be the model that other clubs aspire to, with all members acting with integrity and sportsmanship.
We encourage participation in the game by people from all sections of society and the community, whether as players, coaches, referees, administrators or spectators, and to provide the appropriate facilities for all who wish to participate.
We recognise the importance of the sport and physical activity in general in the development of children and young people and we endeavour to provide the youth of the area with the opportunity, facilities, organisation and coaching expertise to enable them to learn, play and enjoy rugby in a structured and safe environment.
The Club has the biggest rugby membership in Castle Point, with a large & rapidly growing online following across multiple digital platforms. The clubhouse & pitches are in a prominent position in a public area by a main road.
Therefore, we are excellently positioned to help you and your company improve your brand awareness and advertise your company and its products to a large and engaged audience. We also host the annual “Festival by the creek” as well as the “Island Beer Race” where the proceeds raised go to support the Indee Rose Trust charity.
We have many workstreams set up to continue to grow and improve the Club, so it is an exciting time to be involved with us. We have flexible sponsorship options from small one-off arrangements through to larger, ongoing relationships. There should be something to suit most business’s budgets and requirements.
We always encourage our sponsors to come to the club for home games and social occasions, as well as helping to build their brand awareness through our advertising, website and social media activities.
If you are interested in using our position in the community to leverage greater exposure for your business, please get in touch.
Indee Rose Trust: our official charity partner
The Indee Rose Trust is a charity that supports children and their families who have been diagnosed with brain or spinal tumours. The trust was started in Sept 2009 in the memory of Indee Rose, a beautiful, loving, happy 3-year-old daughter who was sadly lost to an inoperable brain tumour in June 2009.
Through Indee's courage, whilst receiving treatment and meeting lots of other children and families, it was decided they would try their best to bring smiles and memories to as many of the 400 children affected each year by brain and spinal tumours.
They provide treasure boxes to the children while they are receiving treatment—a wonderful box of toys and treats especially picked individually for each child.
Indee Rose Trust also provides a one-off grant to families at this difficult time, as well as holiday accommodation for a family break when the child has completed their treatment.
